2014 was the year in which FABARM reached a new level in its development through the creation of the FABARM PROFESSIONAL division. For over 30 years FABARM has been a leading European pump-action shotgun (MARTIAL; SDASS) manufacturing company, and they would now use this new division to address new market sectors such as: Special Forces, the military, law enforcement and many more of the industry’s more demanding market sectors. FABARM PROFESSIONAL proposes a completely new vision of the pump-action shotgun centred on its STF/12 model. Here the key criteria are modularity, adaptability, accuracy and the capacity to receive numerous accessories (sights, flashlights, laser, etc...). The STF/12’s high end technical specifications make it the most innovative and high performance pump-action shotgun currently available on the market, not forgetting the high standards of design, ergonomics and barrel quality that are so typical to FABARM.
Its success was immediate; within months the STF/12 was heralded as THE cutting edge pump-action shotgun and used by a constantly growing number of operators in the law enforcement and Special Forces sectors. The FABARM PROFESSIONAL division has thus become a major development axis for the whole of FABARM S.p.A. with export activity now covering countries with previous reduced market activity in the hunting or sporting sectors.
In December 2015 the other long-standing shareholder of FABARM S.p.A. sold up, allowing CAESAR GUERINI to become the sole shareholder. The consolidation of this new group further strengthened commercial synergy through a notably strong presence on the American market through its Maryland based FABARM USA structure. At the same time this unit became the second largest Italian company in the light civilian firearms sector.
